NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – May 21, 2014 – In collaboration with the Nashville chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and the Vanderbilt University football program, TotalPrint is participating in a unique opportunity for summer internships. Alan Young, EO member and CEO of Armor Concepts LLC, along with Derek Mason, the new Vanderbilt football head coach, set this summer internship program in motion after they met earlier this year. Young’s vision for this program is to match smart, competitive kids with entrepreneurial companies and for the intern to gain valuable experience while adding value to their respective company.
The entrepreneurial internship at TotalPrint consists of a wide range of projects including pricing analysis, general accounting, financial reporting, sales and marketing, and operations. TotalPrint is pleased to have hired Andrew Jelks for the internship position this summer. Andrew, who will be a junior at Vanderbilt University this fall, majors in Human and Organizational Development and minors in Corporate Strategy. While Andrew competes not only on the field with the best athletes in the nation playing in the SEC, he also competes in the classroom with the best and brightest students in the world at Vanderbilt. Andrew has received recognition in both the classroom and the football field, earning All-SEC Academic Honor Roll, All-SEC Freshman Team, and Freshman All-American honors during last season. TotalPrint is excited to have Andrew for the summer. The expectation is that the internship will enhance its ability to deliver service that is “above and beyond.”
